leeches everywhere!

So more about Nepal, but fast, because there are more power outs in one day here than in a year in Canada. :~) perhaps point form is best?

1) One day I had five leeches! FIVE. one leech is fine, but five is crazy. I purchased some running shoes the next day to prevent this from happening again. My name is nicci, and ive been leech free for 1 week. :~)

2) Things are getting easier here. Ive even had a chance to make freinds and go out for food and drinks too! I came home at 9:30 at night and and was scolded by my host family that this was too late. I don’t think ive ever started a night out in Toronto this early. different worlds.

3) I keep taking photos and having them deleted by the children at the orphanage. silly, but maybe those photos weren’t meant to be?

4) I booked my trip after I leave here in Godavari. I go to Pokhara, Chitwan, and then a little trek in the Annapurna circuit. I am excited for this, but now dont want to leave where i am.

5) 20 more days till im home!!!!

Okay, I will leave it at that. I know there is more to update on, but alas my paranoia sets in about losing what ive written.

Lots of love!!! to the max!!

    Hi Nicci-Booddle,

This is my third attempt to leave a message – I must be messing up, but that’s OK because you are coming home soon!!! I will track your final travels on my trusty map.

Things are good here. The rain has stopped and we are now getting some sunshine. The cats are up at the cottage with auntie Pat and Terry – they went up in the car without a peep. I know they love it up there. What lucky animals.

I am working very hard to finish up before Farida and I go to Newfoundland. I’ll be back before you arrive home. Wouldn’t miss that for the world. You have been gone a long time and I am soooo excited.

Keep yourself careful and listen to your hosts – 9:30

(see – my computer is acting up). …. is too late to be getting in! Trust your mother who goes to bed at 10pm just so I can survive the next day.

At any rate, you’ll be home soon and I’m very happy.

    Love Mummsie Pommsie

PS Leeches love tattoos – didn’t they tell you that?
